when i used to play post-scriptum a bunch, i played marksman as it absolutely should be played. a recon class. squad lead would shout objectives, and then i'd run off away from the squad to recon the area, and try to get an angle that would allow me to flush enemies out of cover or at the very least call out areas where enemies were bunched up. however, i frequently (and i mean like 9 times out of 10) would have squad leaders get pissed at me for leaving the rest of the squad yelling "where the fuck are you going, i said to get to ____" as if my sniper was really going to be more useful directly on the front line or clearing houses. i fully understand getting pissed off at marksman that just hang out on a hill near spawn trying to pop heads at 800 meters and ending the match with a k/d of 3-0 and no objectives, but if you have a sniper/marksman in your squad that's hanging out on the periphery of the objectives and they're spotting stuff, they're doing their job. couple of times i had middle aged dudes fully scream raging at me and kicking me from the squad for simply saying "no" when they demanded i leave my objective overwatch spot to run across a big field through enemy lines and stand on the point with the rest of the squad, as if that would fucking help anything. recon is an incredibly useful tool when done well and should never be taken for granted in any game. it's also just incredibly fun and satisfying to do some solid snake shit and sneak behind enemy lines to get a clear overview of an objective from a vantage the rest of your team doesn't have.

I see you made several mistakes 1. your first mistake was downloading Arma. 2. your second mistake was playing arma without watching 2000 hours of arma content. 3. your third mistake (and this was actually recommended to me) was not printing out the controls and posting them on your desk. P.S. some genuine advice tho, if you wanna learn arma, join a server, and have someone from there be your mother duck. i swear if youre not getting instructions before turning on the game, youre not doing it right.

I watched this video last night trying to get asleep, but it was so funny that I couldn't get asleep for hours. Joke about lantern was one of funniest jokes I heard in awhile. You got new subscriber, although you're one to blame for me almost falling asleep at work. Lol.

My guy, Iv been on Reforger since Launch. I have tens of thousands of hours in Arma and OFP. Reforger is the Way and I am glad its finally getting traction. I uninstalled ARMA3

How are you making content on games and you're so out of touch you dont know how to even navigate the menus or join servers???

Project reality new update actually feels optimized even with a shit pc i have never gotten soo smooth experience in it

Hey slorgs, love your Reforger video's, very funny and accurate. I have been playing ArmA since ArmA 3 was in beta and now playing Reforger. I love what you can do with it, but the experience on public servers always depends on who else is on the servers. The people make or break a good time. I have had the best times and the worst times playing Reforger, and it is great to see funny and honest "reviews". Cheers.

The great thing about the Arma series in general is that it can be the most in depth, badass, and immersive experience ever, or, it can be the silliest dumbest and funniest derpfest ever. just depends how you play it and who you play it with lol, literally the truest sandbox there is

How hard is it for Bohemia to add a stock load out editor? You shouldn’t need the Bacon Loadout editor mod to be able to do this. It should be there by default

I got myself this game a while ago, and I’ve learned how to play decently. If you need tips on the basics of the map and how to use your inventory or vehicles, there are handy tutorials on the main menu that will take you through first aid, gunplay and driving. As for thing to do, I personally like sitting around and building shit at bases, or running around as a Medic and failing to do my job.

Arma Reforger like the past Arma Series is what you make of it. One minute we are breaking out of prison, Jumping out of Helicopters into vietnam, fighting robot droids or creating a resistance. Literally a toy box full of creativity waiting to be opened. Do you and enjoy it man.

the camera in reforger feels like you're attached to the neck of a 3d model. I get how arma works, but A3 doesn't feel like that at all.
